Our first day with our out-of-town family included a trip to the Children’s Museum. The kids had so much fun playing, but I think Grandma may have had just as much fun!

She’s so Spoiled!
Natalie had the best birthday present ever: Her Grandma Beaumont came to town, as well as her Aunty Shelly, Uncle Russ, and Cousin Gavin. Yep – she’s one spoiled girl.
More Presents!
Uncle Jason and Aunt Lisa got Natalie a big Rapunzel doll and Nail Polish
Aunt Shelly and Uncle Russ got her a Princess Sticker and Coloring Book
Uncle Scotty got Natalie this Look and Find Princess book. Natalie loved it, but as soon as she went to open her next gift, Maejae snuck in and stole it!
This is from Grandma Beaumont. Natalie got her very own real porcelain doll, that looks a lot like Natalie did when she was a baby. Natalie named her Jasmine (of course) and got a lot of new clothes for her dolly. Jasmine goes almost everywhere with us now, and has her own little bed in Natalie’s room.
Finally, Natalie got to see what her big present from Mom, Dad, and Maejae was. A Brand New BIG GIRL Bike! With a basket and baby seat for Baby Bear or Jasmine. Luckily, Natalie loved it!
We finished the night with Cake and Ice Cream. Aren’t they so cute

A Princess Birthday Party
Natalie and her friend, Makenna, both had their birthday within a month of each other. While talking to Makenna’s mom, Pam, we realized that we were both going to do Princess themed parties. So, we decided to combine parties and invite lots of princess friends to join in on the fun.
Welcome to the Princess Party
We had Gift Bags for all the Princesses, and set up a small Princess Table for the girls to eat their cake and ice cream.
I made banners and picture collages for each of the girls. Here’s Natalie’s.
We started the party with these adorable Coloring Books and crayons for each girl. Pam made all the place settings and a lot of the decorations.
We had a Candy Table with Princess Bags for the girls to fill up. Then, we had cake, ice cream, and punch for everyone to enjoy. I made the cake, which turned out ok, but was definitely not my best cake.

Let the Party Begin!
We started with coloring, and crafts.
Each girl got to make a princess crown and bracelet to take home with them.
Then we played “Pin the Crown on the Princess”
Next up was the Princess Relay race. Each girl had to dress up as a princess, pose for a picture, and then run back to their team to switch princesses. The girls actually did quite well with the relay and had fun posing for their pictures!
Eventually, we got around to actually eating the Cake and Ice Cream.
The girls really enjoyed their own princess table.
And last, but not least – Presents!!
I think both girls got spoiled with Princess presents from all of their friends.
Natalie starts Ballet and Tap
Natalie recently started taking Ballet and Tap at a local dance studio here in AZ. She has always wanted to do ballet, but I didn’t think she was quite old enough. Turns out, she was, and really enjoys dancing! They are pretty strict at this studio, so no parents are allowed in the dance hall. But, we were allowed to take pictures through the observation window, and some of them turned out ok. We are going to continue with Ballet and Tap until June, when Natalie will start taking swimming lessons again.
