Our friends, Scott and Ashley, invited us on a Dolly Steam boat ride somewhere in Arizona. I don’t remember where it was, but I do know that it took about an hour to get there, and that it was actually a lot more fun than I thought it would be!
This was the boat we went on! It was slow, but quite roomy and interesting.
Nathan and I enjoying the tour, and Ashley and I talking about something important!
This picture is the coolest thing we saw on our tour. If you look closely, you can see a bunch of circles in the side of the mountain. Most of the circles are in perfect rows, lined on top of each other. Turns out, those circles are the ends of tree stumps. That is petrified wood right there under that mountain rock! They are not sure how it got there, and why it is so neatly lined up in rows, and stacked on top of each other, but it was really cool to see!
