Zoo trip with Grandpa and Uncle Scotty

Whenever we go to Oregon, we drive past the zoo, and I have always wanted to go back there.  We have been to the zoo in Phoenix, but for some reason, it was never as fun as what I remembered the Oergon zoo to be.  This time, we were in Oregon for a few weeks, so we managed to fit in a trip to the zoo with Grandpa and Uncle Scotty.  The last time Natalie had been to the Oregon zoo was when she was about 18 months old.  She enjoyed it then, but this time she had even more fun explaining all the animals to her little sister, and reminding me what sound each animal makes.

The girls were adorable at the zoo.

They kept pointing at animals, talking to each other, and putting their arms around each other.  It was so fun for me to see how much they have grown to love and cherish each other as not only sisters, but best friends!

The children’s barn was full of animals that the children could pet.  But, Natalie wasn’t in the mood for petting animals.  She did like the horse though.  But, as you can see – Maejae did NOT!

Maejae had a lot of fun at the zoo for the first hour or so.  But, then she got tired.  Luckily Grandpa was there to entertain her, and keep her awake for most of the trip.  She did fall asleep towards the end, but I think she had fun!

This is Natalie doing her best modeling!

I think she had fun, and even enjoyed the educational part of the zoo.

Natalie loves her Uncle Scotty.  And, as you can tell, she kept him quite busy at the zoo.
